We are competing in everything that we do, even something as simple as typing on a computer. Photography shouldn't be judged on which is better, which can sell better. It should be judged on what it took to take the picture, and what was running through the mind of the photographer. An artists perspective doesn't have to satisfy others, it just has to satisfy themselves.
